Accommodations

Our boarders are housed in spacious climate controlled kennels or runs. We feed Science Diet food and your pets are walked at least 2 times a day. You can bring your pet’s own food if you prefer.

Personal Belongings

You are more than welcome to bring your pet comfort items such as bedding, toys, food, etc. Please try to label personal belongings with the pet’s first and last name. Aurora Animal Hospital cannot be responsible for damage or loss of left articles.

Medications

Aurora Animal Hospital will administer any owner provided medications while boarding for an additional fee. We will treat for fleas at the owner’s expense if they are noted while boarding.

Hurricane Policy

Aurora Animal Hospital would like our clients to know that your pet’s care is always our top priority during hurricane season. We will accept pets for boarding during hurricane season, but will close boarding if a potential threat to the area arises. If a hurricane is forecasted to hit the New Orleans area, we will require you or an alternate contact to pick up your pet within 24 hours. If an evacuation of the facility is required, you will be responsible for any additional costs of transportation and boarding at another facility.
